Auto Update
TikMatrix Pro uses an intelligent auto-update system that supports gray release, force/soft updates, and multi-language update notes. This page explains how updates work and what you can expect as a user.
How Updates Work
When TikMatrix Pro starts, it automatically checks for available updates in the background. The update check is silent and does not interrupt your workflow.
Update Types
| Type | Behavior |

| Soft Update | A non-blocking dialog appears. You can choose to update now or dismiss it and update later. |
| Force Update | A blocking dialog appears that cannot be dismissed. You must install the update to continue using the app. Force updates are only used for critical fixes or security patches. |
Gray Release (Staged Rollout)
New versions are sometimes rolled out gradually to a percentage of users before reaching everyone. This allows the team to detect issues early before full deployment.
- If you do not see an update that others have received, you may not yet be in the release group.
- Your device is consistently assigned to the same release group, so once a version reaches your group, you will always be offered it.
- A full rollout (100%) means all users receive the update simultaneously.
Update Dialog
When an update is available, a dialog will appear with:
- Version number of the new release
- Update notes — displayed in your configured language
- Install Now button to start the download and install
- Later button (soft updates only) to dismiss and update at a convenient time
For force updates, the dialog cannot be closed and the "Later" button is hidden. This is intentional — force updates contain critical fixes that are required for the app to function correctly.
Update Notes Language
Update notes are automatically displayed in the language you have configured in TikMatrix Pro settings. The system supports 21 languages:
English, 简体中文, Русский, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, العربية, हिन्दी, Bahasa Indonesia, ภาษาไทย, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, Polski, Nederlands, Svenska, עברית, Українська
If your language is not available for a specific release, the notes will fall back to English.
Troubleshooting
The update dialog does not appear
- Ensure your internet connection is active.
- The update may not have been rolled out to your device yet (gray release). Wait for the full rollout.
- Restart the application — the update check runs at startup.
- Updates may be temporarily paused by the team. Check our Telegram channel for announcements.
The update fails to install
- Check that you have write permissions in the application directory.
- Temporarily disable antivirus software, which may block the installer.
- Download and run the latest installer manually from tikmatrix.com.
I am stuck on a force update screen
- This is by design. Install the update to continue.
- If the download fails repeatedly, check your internet connection and try again.
- Contact support via Telegram if the issue persists.
